Sima Bürgin

Sima Bürgin was born on July 9, 1962 and is the mother of three children.
She studied ballet at the Zurich Opera House ballet school from 1976 to 1981. Her passion for dance led her onward to Budapest, where she intensified her ballet studies from 1981 to 1983 at the Àllami Ballet Intézet with Edith Handel. She then continued her training at the Ballet Junior at the École de Danse in Geneva with Mme. Consuelo from 1984 to 1985. In that year, she embarked on an advanced training course at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main. Later, from 1994 to 1997, she successfully completed her acting training at the European Film Actor School in Zurich with a diploma. 
In 2021-2022, Sima Bürgin obtained the „Personal Health Coach Certificate of Advanced Studies“ from the prestigious University of Basel. This certification demonstrates her commitment to comprehensive personal health coaching and underscores her expertise in this field. 

Sima works as a Pilates instructor, Ballet teacher and actress. In 2015, she founded the Body Line Pilates Studio in the centre of Zurich, which has also served as a host for the BASI Pilates Faculty since 2021. 
Additionally, she obtained the Comprehensive Teacher Training Certification (Studio/Mat) from BASI® (Body Arts and Science International®) in 2015-2016, and as of 2023, she is a member of the international BASI Pilates faculty.
